With lead vocals shared between Adriana Flores and Brian Ponce, the interplay between their unique timbres brings a romantic quality to the music that is absent in many of today’s soul offerings. ‘Del Cielo Te Cuido’, a gorgeous ballad about the unconditional nature of true love, builds into an uplifting waltz- showcasing the delicate and effective interplay between Ponce and Flores. Sung in unison, ‘Perdóname’ is a vibey, mid-tempo shuffle whose dreamy swing- courtesy of their unassailable rhythm section: Caitlin Moss (drums) and Chris Manjarrez (bass)- transports you to another time and place.
