In 1987, De Dijk had their definitive breakthrough with their fourth album 'Wakker In Een Strange World'. It was the first album the band recorded for their new label Mercury Records. The album contains the hit singles 'Dansen Op De Vulkaan' and 'Mag Het Licht Uit, two songs that have since become indispensable in the band's rich oeuvre. For the first time since the original release, 'Awake In A Strange World' is now available again on LP, including an insert with the lyrics. 'Awake In A Strange World' is De Dijk's fourth studio album, first released in 1987. The album includes the hits 'Dansen Op De Vulkaan' and 'Mag Het Licht Uit'. The front of the cover design consists of a drawing by band member Nico Arzbach. This 2024 reissue is on black vinyl and contains an insert with lyrics.
