‘Green Mind’ in 1991 catapulted Dinosaur Jr. into the major-label spotlight and onto the legendary ‘next level’ that music executives love so much. That breakthrough into the mainstream brought extensive touring, new countries, and bigger shows, including performances across Europe and the US.

‘Bouncing Off The Walls’ brings together highlights from four recordings documenting a year in which Dinosaur Jr. established its reputation, as grunge was breaking through and the American underground was spreading around the world. This set features tracks recorded in Boston, Santa Cruz, Mezzago (Italy), and London (UK), all carefully restored, edited, and remastered for maximum listening enjoyment.

The set perfectly captures one of the loudest and most powerful bands of the era at their live best. ‘Bouncing Off The Walls’ is the latest release in our ongoing series covering the band’s Sire Records period (1991–1997), and is sure to appeal to fans, collectors, and anyone lucky enough to have seen Dinosaur Jr. live during their tour promoting the classic album ‘Green Mind’.
