Info
• Released in 1982, “Computer Games” was George Clinton’s first solo LP. Released after a period of legal wrangles, it put him back on the map, spawning two hit singles – ‘Loopzilla’ and ‘Atomic Dog’. The album also climbed to #3 on Billboard’s R&B chart and peaked at #40 on the Billboard 200. • Although Funkadelic and Parliament had disbanded, the album featured many of the P-Funk crew, including Bootsy Collins, Eddie Hazel, Junie Morrison, Fred Wesley, Dennis Chambers, Garry Shider and Bernie Worrell. • “Computer Games” was last reissued on vinyl in 2015. As part of Ace’s commitment to putting out as much of the output of the P-Funk empire as possible, we are delighted to wax it again on 180g black vinyl with liner notes by our own Ian Shirley. • For those of you who like to play music on your computers, it will also be reissued on CD.
