Does this mean J.J. Abrams is the father from hell? No, and this isn’t a Hazbin Hotel situation. Gracie Abrams is coming out with her third album on July 17, titled Daughter From Hell. “Whoa whoa whoa Freaking out, I am so ready for it to be yours,” she shared on Instagram with a photo of the album cover. Her first single, “Hit the Wall,” comes out this Thursday, the first glimpse into her next era but not without a familiar face. Aaron Dessner, who produced her first two albums, returns for D.F.H.

She teased the new single at the Met Gala last week, telling Vogue, “It’s the introduction to this new chapter and I feel grateful and relieved that this is the introduction. I love the song so much and I love the people I made it with and it feels embodied and that feels good. So I’m excited for it to belong to everyone else.” All this, plus her acting debut with Halina Reijn? Oh, la, la!
