On Friday, November 14, MEAU announced her second studio album "Liefde onderschat". The album brings together a special selection of previously released tracks and new material, once again showcasing MEAU’s distinctive, honest and emotive sound. The LP will be available from 28/11/25.
On "Liefde onderschat" you’ll find successful singles such as Stukje van mij, Het midden (featuring Pommelien Thijs), and Nog even blijven (featuring Douwe Bob). The latter recently reached the fifth position in the Dutch Top 40 and continues to perform strongly on streaming platforms, where it appears prominently in major playlists.
With this new album, MEAU demonstrates the growth of her music in recent years, while her candid songwriting and signature vocal style remain firmly in place. "Liefde onderschat" promises to be a warm and personal record that beautifully reflects her artistic development.
This autumn is also a special period for the artist: on October 17, MEAU performed at a sold-out AFAS Live in Amsterdam, and on November 21 she will take the stage with her band at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. With her second studio album and the continued success of her recent work, MEAU reaffirms her strong position within the Dutch pop landscape. The release will be followed by a theatre tour across the Netherlands in the spring of 2026.
