Info
Somewhere between Rotterdam and Istanbul floats a planet that Min Taka calls home. The Turkish-Dutch artist turns glittery chaos into something intimate, blending indie pop, bubblegrunge, and hyperpop in her own unique way. Her second EP, "I think we should just move in together," is her first fully English-language project: a messy, honest exploration of belonging, staying, and starting over. The title of the EP comes from the song "eYeSiGht," a vulnerable confession about not being able to see without that one special person, and how moving in together seems like the only logical next step.
Spread across six tracks (including one stripped-down acoustic version), Min Taka effortlessly shifts between soft bedroom pop and electronic restlessness. Heartbreak, homesickness, pixel-like love, and post-move chaos come together in catchy hooks and gritty, distorted production. With performances in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Turkey (and this summer at festivals like Down The Rabbit Hole and Boomtown), she’s claiming her place in the indie cosmos.
