Sheryl Crow - Pick You Up

Each of these songs is a reflection on what it means to be human and the longing for connection. There is so much chaos around us, and I often feel lonely. My wish is that everyone who hears these songs feels the hope that I feel when I sing them! I hope these songs feel like a soothing balm for our broken hearts.

We are all going through so much in our human existence right now that being awake can sometimes feel like trudging through a burning desert. But we are never alone. And there is beauty everywhere. We just need to keep our eyes open.

I find that these days I write songs to understand what is going on inside me and what is happening around me. So much chaos, but also so much hope and love to share. These songs all came from the experience of living in this moment.

So much chaos and information is coming at us that it can feel overwhelming and paralyzing. My hope is that when you hear these songs, you feel that this is just a moment in time, and that life is a beautiful gift worth sharing.

The album was produced and all songs were written by Sheryl Crow and Jeff Trott. Sheryl Crow is a nine-time Grammy Award winner, with five certified multi-platinum albums. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023.
