“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by Steve Hackett & The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, originally released in 1997, is being released on vinyl for the first time, specially remastered for this format. This album, a musical tribute to and inspired by William Shakespeare’s play, features Steve on classical guitar, accompanied by conductor Matt Dunkley and the full orchestra. Roger King and his brother John Hackett, longtime collaborators, also appear on what is often considered a highlight of Steve’s classical work.
