Record Store Day: Black Friday 2025 is Around the Corner
Here are some titles from this year's Black Friday release line up that caught our attention
For Black Friday, the organization behind Record Store Day issues a smaller round of exclusive vinyl titles. Just like Record Store Day in April, we will receive exclusive titles for this day: unique colour pressings, first-time releases, special editions, and limited runs you won’t find anywhere else.
Sam Fender & Olivia Dean contribute Black Friday with a limited 7″ built around a newly re-worked version of Rein Me In, originally from Fender’s No. 1 album People Watching, now featuring a fresh verse and vocal arrangement by Dean, plus the live duet recorded at London Stadium in front of 80,000 people. Two significant catalog titles accompany it. Prince and The Revolution’s Around the World in a Day returns as a limited Black Friday box-set of five colored 7″ singles, marking the album’s 40th anniversary with a format that highlights its kaleidoscopic singles and artwork. Bob Dylan – The Original Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan presents the album in its early, unreleased configuration, restoring four tracks removed before the 1963 release, offering a rare view into the record’s original shape and the version Dylan and the studio assembled before last-minute changes.
