Marcus King recorded this intimate performance at the famous Bluebird Café in Nashville on August 8, 2024, backed by guitarist Drew Smithers and keyboardist Peter Levin. Available exclusively for Record Store Day 2025, this 2 LP set is presented on deep sky color vinyl in a gatefold jacket with die-cut sleeves and a 18” x 24” poster included.


In May 1977, Elton John took the stage at London’s iconic Rainbow Theatre with Ray Cooper for a 6 show residency. The immensely influential band Wire released a box set with nine 7" singles in 2018. The only thing these tracks really have in common (besides being by Wire) is that they were released or destined to be released on 7" by Wire in the period 1977-1980. Now for the first time, all these tracks are available on a double LP.

Robert 'Gotobed' Grey left Wire in 1990, so the band became Wir with three members, also to quickly fulfill the existing contract with Mute. Their own rules were broken and stripped-down electronic music became the new costume. Graham Lewis sang most of the tracks. Shows resembled art happenings more.
