Pianist Alice Sara Ott recorded a selection of the most famous works by the late Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson for this album, reinterpreted for solo piano. These premiere recordings of the piano arrangements capture the essence of Jóhann Jóhannsson’s music and include some of his most iconic pieces, drawn from films such as The Theory of Everything and Personal Effects, as well as from his studio albums, including Orphée and Englabörn.
