Avantasia is one of the most well-known metal projects of all time.
From the albums Metal Opera Part I & II (which sold more than 400,000 copies), special editions are now being released. Part I, the 2001 bestseller, is available for the first time as a digipak (limited edition with a silver finish) and as a coloured double LP.
The entire album was written and composed by Tobias Sammet (Edguy) and features guest musicians including Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween), Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray), Timo Tolkki (ex-Stratovarius), Bob Catley (Magnum), and many others.
