Bill Frisell - In My Dreams

On In My Dreams, Bill Frisell brings together several of his closest musical friends in a unique sextet featuring Jenny Scheinman on violin, Eyvind Kang on viola, Hank Roberts on cello, Thomas Morgan on bass, and Rudy Royston on drums. Their deep musical history goes back many years, although they had never previously worked together in this particular lineup before this project. They explore a wide range of American music, from Frisell’s own compositions to jazz and Americana classics. Produced by Lee Townsend, the album celebrates Frisell’s 75th birthday.
