"Both of us are fascinated by the emotional space in all its ambiguity and how art can directly communicate where words fall short. Like all art, music is about evoking feelings. Art has the ability to trigger emotions—or combinations of emotions—that have never existed before. In this way, a piece of art can become the 'mother' of a new type of feeling."
Brian Eno is a legendary musician, producer, visual artist, and activist. He first gained international recognition in the early 1970s as the founder of the British band Roxy Music. Subsequently, he released a series of solo albums, collaborated with artists such as David Bowie, Talking Heads, Devo, U2, Coldplay, his brother Roger Eno, and most recently Fred again.. Beatie Wolfe is a Los Angeles-based British-American conceptual artist, activist, and self-described "musical weirdo and visionary" (Vice).
The two artists share a mutual commitment to art and environmental activism and collaborated on the albums Luminal and Lateral. Recorded in London and centered around the concept of "Art and feelings," each album features original music spanning various genres and styles. The cover artwork for these albums is derived from a series of etchings by Brian Eno.
