The new Corine’s album heats the dancefloor up and enlightens our days with a glimmer of hope and benevolence. The promise is kept: "R" - the title of her second album - stands for Rebirth, Re-enchantment, Reinvention, Resilience and finally for her son's name. With "R", Corine reinvents herself. The disco-glam Diva has matured and is back with more assertiveness, more audacity. The singer, now brunette, is back with nuanced lyrics that express vulnerability. "Bouge Bouge", first single, is a bit like MC Solaar's “Bouge de là” version 2022. Feminine and feminist version. We all have the right to be strong, beautiful and sexy. The right to dance without being bothered. The right to live without being judged. "C'est si beau", second single, is the hymn to motherhood but in a Donna Summer way. In "R" Corine offers herself - and us - the pleasure of an unexpected duet with Pino d'Angiò, star of the Italo-disco, author of the hit "Ma quale idea". "Tutta Sola" is pop, facetious and a full of fantasy title on which Corine’s insolence agrees to delight the grumpy growls of the old maestro."
