Vocals and songs by Julianne Regan (All About Eve), Monica Richards (Faith & the Muse), Evi Vine, and Amandine Ferrari. Enriched with violin by Bob Loveday of Penguin Café, guitar by Steve Carey, and bass by Tony Pettitt. Featuring Bob Loveday’s violin (Van Morrison / Penguin Café), Steve Carey on guitar, Tony Pettitt of Fields of the Nephilim on bass, plus many friends. The album came about when Carey & Pettitt explored the music they loved and decided to take a new direction with a lineup of female voices. The result was an amalgam of trip-hop, prog rock, and exotic goth rock, enriched with lyrics and vocals by four exceptional female artists. The album now includes six additional tracks recorded during the same sessions as the original album. The band went on to release five more records and toured regularly across the UK and Europe.
