Driving Towards the Daylight is the tenth studio album by blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa, originally released on May 22, 2012. The album was recorded at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles, California, and at Studio at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Driving Towards the Daylight is a balanced, “back-to-basics” album that highlights Bonamassa’s signature blend of blues, roots, and rock ’n’ roll. The album was produced by Kevin Shirley (known for his work with The Black Crowes, Aerosmith, and Led Zeppelin) and marks the seventh collaboration between Bonamassa and Shirley over six years.
