Lee Morgan - The Gigolo

After the overwhelming success of The Sidewinder in 1964, trumpeter Lee Morgan continued his success with The Gigolo in 1965. On this album he plays with Wayne Shorter, Harold Mabern, Bob Cranshaw and Billy Higgins. Hits from this hard bop set are the groovy opener 'Yes I Can, No You Can't' and the swinging and uptempo 'Speedball'.
