Gala is the debut compilation, released in 1990 by 4AD as an introduction to the US and Japanese markets, comprising the band's debut mini album Scar (1989) and Mad Love and Sweetness and Light extended plays (1990) in reverse chronological order, plus two additional tracks. The album features the band's in reverse chronological order.
