Bonner Kramer - ...and the crimson moon whispers goodbye

Kramer’s 1st solo LP in 5 years is a 4-part ambient drone-poem for The Living and The Dead. Each purchase includes a free download, including 48 minutes of bonus material - the Live recording of “Music for Pianos & Sunflowers” from Big Ears 2025 (featuring Shahzad Ismaily).

His last solo LPs ‘And The Wind Blew It All Away’ “Music For Films Edited By Moths”, and “Music For Pianos & Sunflowers”, were part of his 2020 AIR (Artist In Residence) box set for Joyful Noise Recordings.

“And The Wind Blew It All Away” was a gentle mystery tour of simmering acoustic strings, organs, pianos and mellotrons, tape loops, found sounds and a whisper of percussion, laced through Kramer's distinctively idiosyncratic voice and poetic lyrics.

Kramer is now shifting away from words/text and fully into the minimalist instrumental drone-poems that first gripped him during his early years of composing and performing in NYC’s late 70s ‘downtown’ experimental music scene.

"...and the crimson moon whispers goodbye" offers Kramer's most recent audio explorations into the creative environments that draw him full-circle back into the forest of ideas and organic influences that have been discreetly percolating for decades.
